FOLLOW MARKET The BMW 2000 CS was a coupe variant of the BMW New Class. Introduced in 1965, this two door coupe was powered by BMW's 2.0L M10 inline 4 engine, fitted with two carburetors. The most powerful of the New Class Coupes, the 2000 CS was only available with a manual transmission. Production of the BMW 2000 CS ended in 1969.

The 2000cs is the 4-speed standard transmission version. It was the most produced model for the e120s with 10,000 cars built. The power plant for the CS is the signature M10 4-cylinder engine with a 9.3:1 compression ratio producing 120 hp. The cylinder head is a "121" with a 42.1 mm pin-to-deck coupled with 5.2mm-domed pistons (piano tops).
